Certification Body
The independent certification body of FGH is the first institution in the world to be accredited for the certification of the electrical characteristics of decentralized power generating plants. Our accreditation number assigned by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) is D-ZE-20089-01-00.
In accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17065, the accreditation covers both – the certification of individual components and generating units and the certification of power generating plants. Our certification scope includes numerous international regulations and grid codes. Consultancy regarding the planning and qualification of components, products, and generation plants in whose certification we are involved is not possible.
Testing Laboratory
German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) has granted the testing laboratory of FGH accreditation according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 for testing generating plants and units as well as components in electricity grids of all voltage levels.
The accreditation includes the determination of the electrical characteristics of protection and control devices in generating units and plants. The scope of accreditation also includes the testing of the electrical characteristics of generating units and plants, consumption units and plants, energy storage systems as well as transmission, distribution, and supply networks and their respective components. The accreditation number assigned by DAkkS is D-PL-20089-01.
Impartiality And Financing
Our impartiality is the basis of our actions as accredited bodies. To ensure impartiality, we have formed a steering committee within the certification body made up of representatives of the stakeholders in certification. Funding for accredited bodies is provided by fees we collect as part of our operations. The basic equipment of facilities and personnel is provided by FGH Zertifizierungsgesellschaft mbH as the supporting organization.
