Proof Of Conformity For Power Generating Plants

You are developing power generating plants? Your grid operator asks for a verification of your plant's electrical behavior? Various country-specific grid codes apply both within and outside Europe. These codes define the requirements for the electrical properties of your power generating plants and the associated verification procedures for a compliant grid connection. Benefit from our extensive project experience - we are your experienced partner for grid connection certification of power generating plants.

Historical Background

Back in 2009, we issued the world's first plant certificate for a wind farm. Since then, the renewable energy market has developed rapidly. Nowadays, all generating plants must have a valid plant certificate before being installed in Germany. The corresponding requirements are formulated in German VDE Guideline (VDE AR-N 4110, VDE AR-N 4120 and VDE AR-N 4130).

The European Network Code Requirements for Generators (RfG)

There are specific requirements for the grid connection of distributed generating plants. These requirements are formulated both in country-specific individual grid codes (e.g. German VDE guidelines) and in higher-level network codes (such as the European network code "Requirements for Generators" (RfG)).

Our certification body supports you in your projects and is accredited for certification in accordance with international grid codes and network connection requirements of more than 30 different countries. We have continuously expanded our portfolio and offer comprehensive accredited certification services in the international market environment.

Please contact us to find out which requirements apply in your target country. We provide extensive international project experience and would be happy to support you in your projects, too.
