The international standard IEC 61400-21 (Measurement and assessment of electrical characteristics - Wind turbines) specifies the technical requirements for measuring and assessing the electrical characteristics of wind turbines. It specifies, for example, which values with regard to grid compatibility a power genarting unit must fulfill and defines the underlying measurement procedures.
